​Adding 6 new subjects to participate in health insurance

The new procedure for collecting social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance; managing social insurance books and health insurance cards of Vietnam Social Security adds 6 new health insurance participants.

Specifically includes the following subjects:

- Relatives of officers, non-commissioned officers currently working, non-commissioned officers, conscripts, and students of the People's Public Security studying at schools inside and outside the People's Public Security receiving living expenses from the State budget; relatives of people working in key positions (excluding those whose health insurance cards are issued by the Ministry of National Defense's Social Insurance), sectors, and localities;

- Foreign students studying at the Police Academy receiving scholarships from the State budget; students of the Police Cultural School;

- Frontline laborers participating in the resistance war to protect the Fatherland and performing international duties according to the provisions of Decision No. 49/2015/QD-TTg;

- People's artisans and excellent artisans awarded by the State and belonging to households with average monthly income per capita lower than the basic salary;

- People working in cryptography receive salaries similar to those of soldiers working in cryptography organizations under ministries (except the Ministry of National Defense), sectors, and localities;

- Subjects covered by health insurance by employees, unit and local police.
