The Ministry of Finance has collected more than 1,900 billion VND in taxes from Metro.

Authorities have collected VND1,911 billion in taxes from Metro Group after the transfer of METRO Cash & Cary Vietnam.

On the afternoon of January 14, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung said that the authorities had collected VND1,911 billion in taxes from Metro Group after the transfer of METRO Cash & Cary Vietnam.

The Minister also said that of the total tax amount mentioned above, 22% (about 400 billion VND) will be deducted for the locality (Ho Chi Minh City) according to regulations, the rest will be paid to the central budget.

It is known that METRO Group and TCC Group (Thailand) have completed all procedures to complete the transfer of METRO Cash & Carry Vietnam. Accordingly, TCC will acquire all of METRO Group's wholesale facilities in Vietnam (19 centers and related real estate worth 655 million Euros).
