Military Region 4 General Staff deploys tasks for 2016

(Baonghean,vn) - On the afternoon of December 17, the General Staff of Military Region 4 held a Military-Political Conference to summarize the tasks of 2015 and deploy the directions and tasks of 2016. Major General Dang Trong Quan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Region chaired the conference.

In 2015, the Party Committee of the General Staff led the agencies and units to perform well their functions, guide and direct military and national defense tasks, notably maintaining strict discipline, combat readiness regimes, training, and building regularity at all levels; building VMTD agencies and units; directing the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels, the 12th General Staff Party Congress (term 2015 - 2020).

In 2016, the General Staff of Military Region 4 determined a breakthrough in improving the quality of officers in charge of campaign-level staff agencies and officers in charge of affiliated units; improving the quality of regular construction, discipline management and safety assurance.

Focus on advising and directing agencies and units to strictly maintain combat readiness regimes, grasp the situation, and promptly handle situations; Fully consolidate organizational structures, effectively perform the tasks of military recruitment, training, education, and fostering knowledge of National Defense and Security for the subjects.

Focus on implementing well the work of political education, ideological orientation, and discipline management; improve the quality of training for subjects in agencies and units of the General Staff, strive to complete 100% of training to meet requirements, of which 80%-85% are good and excellent; do not let serious disciplinary violations occur, reduce the rate of common violations to below 0.2%; ensure absolute safety in training, drills, labor and traffic participation. Build 100% of Party organizations to complete their tasks well, with 47%-50% of Party organizations achieving clean and strong status.
