The Minister of Justice works with the Nghe An Department of Justice.
On the morning of July 13th, Comrade Hoang Thanh Tung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Justice - worked with the Nghe An Department of Justice on the situation of implementing judicial tasks in 2025 and the results of work in the first six months of 2026.
Attending the working session were Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Nghe An Department of Justice, along with leaders of units under the Department.
The report presented at the meeting showed that, from July 1, 2025 to the present, the Nghe An Justice Department has proactively advised and implemented tasks in a coordinated manner with the local government at both levels, ensuring smooth operation and preventing interruptions in the handling of administrative procedures serving citizens and businesses.
The Department has advised on the decentralization of 33 judicial tasks; promptly advised on the implementation of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW of the Politburo on reforming the work of lawmaking and enforcement, contributing to meeting the requirements of the new organizational structure model.

Simultaneously, administrative reform and digital transformation continue to be promoted. To date, 100% of eligible administrative procedures are provided online; the rate of online application submissions has reached over 99%, and the rate of timely and early processing is nearly 99%. Millions of civil registration data have been digitized, cleaned, and connected to the National Population Database, contributing to improved state management efficiency and the quality of service to the people.

In the field of lawmaking and enforcement, the Department of Justice has advised on the improvement of many mechanisms and policies; enhanced the quality of appraisal and review of legal documents; strengthened legal dissemination and education, grassroots mediation, and legal aid. The team of legal support professionals continues to be strengthened, and inspection and supervision work has been intensified, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management in the field of justice.

During the meeting, the Nghe An Department of Justice also requested the Ministry of Justice to focus on improving information technology infrastructure, upgrading the shared administrative procedure resolution information system; supplementing human resources for the sector, especially the team of judicial officials at the commune level; perfecting the organizational mechanism of judicial departments in localities with a large workload; and promoting data connectivity and sharing to serve digital transformation in the field of justice.

In his concluding remarks, Minister of Justice Hoang Thanh Tung acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Nghe An Justice sector over the past year. The Minister emphasized that, in the context of the entire political system focusing on implementing many major Party policies on reforming the work of lawmaking and enforcement, reorganizing the organizational structure, implementing a two-tiered local government system, and promoting digital transformation, the Nghe An Justice sector has strived to overcome many difficulties and successfully completed its assigned tasks.

The Minister requested that the Nghe An Department of Justice continue to play its advisory role in building and perfecting institutions; improve the quality of appraisal and review of legal documents and organize the implementation of laws, considering this a key task to remove bottlenecks and create momentum for socio-economic development. At the same time, it should continue to promote digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence in judicial activities; strengthen administrative procedure reform; pay attention to consolidating the organizational structure and improving the quality of staff, especially at the commune level; and enhance the effectiveness of legal dissemination and education, legal aid, and management of supporting judicial fields.

Regarding local proposals, the Minister instructed units under the Ministry to continue researching and advising on solutions for issues within their jurisdiction; and to compile and report to the Government and competent authorities for consideration on issues beyond their authority. The Minister expressed confidence that the Nghe An Justice sector will continue to promote the spirit of unity and innovation, excellently fulfilling its assigned tasks, contributing to the successful achievement of the province's and the Justice sector's development goals in the new period.
