The new quartet of Mercedes models has been launched in Vietnam.

Following the launch of the 2017 E-Class mid-size sedan, Mercedes-Benz continues to bring four new models to Vietnam.

The extensive catalog of 27 Mercedes models attracted a large number of visitors.

At the recently concluded Vietnam International Motor Show (VIMS 2016) in Ho Chi Minh City, Mercedes-Benz boasted the most diverse product range with 27 models. Notably, four of these were new models.

The SLC 43 AMG sports car model always attracts visitors at VIMS 2016, especially young consumers.

Perhaps the most talked-about model is the SLC 43 AMG roadster. This compact sports car is appealing thanks to its AMG sports body kit, diamond grille, and 18-inch 10-spoke two-tone sports wheels. It features intelligent, two-tiered full LED headlights.

The interior is luxurious and eye-catching, featuring a dominant red and black color scheme from the sports seats to the stitching. The interior boasts dark carbon fiber-patterned aluminum trim and a premium Nappa leather-wrapped sports steering wheel.

The Mercedes SLC 43 AMG uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and a 9-speed 9G-Tronic transmission with a simulated clutch engagement feature when downshifting. This engine produces a maximum power of 367 horsepower and a maximum torque of 520 Nm, and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.

The retail price of the SLC 43 AMG, as set by Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, is 3.619 billion VND.

The second new model that Mercedes-Benz brought to Vietnam for VIMS 2016 is the 6th generation SL 400. The SL is a legendary Mercedes-Benz model with many products that have left their mark on history, especially the "gull-wing door" 300 SL from the 1950s.

The SL 400 has made breakthroughs in design, from its "Sensual Purity" exterior to its ultra-lightweight aluminum alloy frame.

The SL 400 is equipped with newly designed full-LED headlights and a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, along with Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic suspension. The SL's roof can be opened and closed at speeds up to 40 km/h, and it integrates a panoramic sunroof with Magic Sky Control color-changing glass.

The SL 400 version uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing a maximum power of 367 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm, with the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The car is equipped with a Harman Kardon® Logic 7® 11-speaker 600-watt surround sound system, a GPS navigation system with integrated Vietnam maps, and a CPA Plus collision avoidance assistance system.

The Mercedes SL 400 is distributed in Vietnam with a retail price of 6.709 billion VND.

For the S 500 Cabriolet, this marks the first time the German automaker has offered a Cabriolet variant after 44 years of only designing sedan versions for the high-end S-Class line.

The retail price of the S 500 Cabriolet in the Vietnamese market is 10.799 billion VND.

After two years on the market and becoming one of Mercedes' best-selling models in Vietnam, the CLA is starting to receive an upgrade.

In this upgrade, the Mercedes CLA features changes that, while not extensive, are worthwhile. The front bumper, air intakes, and grille are sharper and more modern. The lighting technology has been upgraded with full LED headlights and an Ambient Lighting system with 12 customizable colors and brightness levels. The 8-inch TFT central display is designed in a tablet style.
