* Following the direction of the Ministry of Health, on February 23, the working group of the Ministry of Health and the Nghe An Department of Health, together with relevant departments and branches, directly took samples for screening tests at the school and sent the samples to the Central Government for further research.
However, according to the preliminary conclusion of the Ministry of Health, the cause of the disease is bacterial infection, but the infection caused by food, water source or poor personal hygiene... has not been confirmed. Therefore, the working group of the Ministry of Health has directed the working group of the Nghe An Department of Health to continue to stay to treat patients who have not recovered, manage the epidemic well, and prevent new cases from arising.

* On the morning of February 24, the Center for Preventive Medicine, Que Phong District General Hospital coordinated with the Commune Health Station, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) to distribute free antibiotics to prevent glomerulonephritis for 350 students and 20 teachers at the Hanh Dich Primary and Secondary School, Que Phong District, along with 11 families with people suffering from glomerulonephritis in the area.
As reported, from mid-November 2016 until now, in Hanh Dich commune, 20 students of Hanh Dich Primary and Secondary School have suffered from the following diseases: edema, urinary retention, dark urine, of which 2 have died. Before tIn that situation, all levels of government from central to local levels have been making efforts in screening and providing treatment regimens to control the spread of the disease.
