The disease has become a nightmare for anyone afflicted. In particular, the incidence of cancer is on the rise, not only in Vietnam but in most countries around the world, affecting people of all ages, regions, and regardless of wealth or poverty.
According to Ms. Xuyen, cancer is a burden for many families, with long treatment times and large sums of money that most cannot afford. Some people have to abandon their treatment, and many young children cannot continue treatment due to their families' difficult circumstances.
