The Ministry of Health has decided to award Certificates of Commendation to one team and four nurses for their bravery in protecting patients during the attack at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

On October 24th, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan signed Decision No. 3325/QD-BYT awarding Certificates of Commendation to one collective and four individuals from Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

The following individuals and groups were awarded Certificates of Merit: the Neonatal Department; Nurse Nguyen Thuy Trang; Nurse Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai; Nurse Tran Thi Hong; and Nurse Nguyen Thi Hong.

These groups and individuals were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Minister of Health for their courageous actions in intervening and protecting the safety of patients and their families in critical situations.

The Ministry of Health will award Certificates of Commendation as soon as the nurses recover their health. Currently, nurses Nguyen Thuy Trang and Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai are receiving intensive treatment at Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television: On the morning of October 23, an attack occurred at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, targeting patients, their family members, and medical staff.

The medical staff working in the Neonatal Department acted bravely, intervening to stop the assailant and protecting the safety of the patient and their family in a critical situation.
