Training on military and national defense work for officials in Xieng Khouang province.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 18th, at Regiment 764, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, in coordination with the Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command, inaugurated the 2017 training course on military and local defense theory for officers of the armed forces of Xieng Khouang province (Laos).

Attending the opening ceremony were: Colonel Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Tran Van Hung - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, along with 26 trainees from the armed forces of Xieng Khouang province.

During the 15-day period (from September 16th to 30th), the trainees will receive instruction on some basic principles and theories in leadership, guidance, and implementation of local military, national defense, and security work.

This activity is part of the roadmap of the Project "Improving the effectiveness of cooperation and assistance to the armed forces of Xieng Khouang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, 2013-2020" issued by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in 2013.

The 2017 training course on military and local defense theory for officers of the armed forces of Xieng Khouang province was organized to improve the effectiveness and quality of work, contributing to building a stronger armed force in Xieng Khouang province, and better fulfilling its duties in the new situation.
