Training in military and defense work for Xieng Khouang provincial officials

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 18, at Regiment 764, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command in coordination with the Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command opened the 2017 Military and Local Defense Theory Training Course for the armed forces of Xieng Khouang Province (Laos).

Attending the opening ceremony were: Colonel Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Tran Van Hung - Commander of the Provincial Military Command and 26 students from the Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command.

During the 15-day course (from September 16 to 30), trainees will learn some basic contents about principles and theories in leadership, direction, and implementation of military work, local defense and security.

This activity is part of the roadmap of the Project "Improving the effectiveness of cooperation and assistance to the armed forces of Xieng Khouang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, period 2013-2020" issued by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in 2013.

The 2017 training course on military and local defense theory for Xieng Khouang provincial armed forces officers was organized to improve the efficiency and quality of work, contributing to building an increasingly strong Xieng Khouang provincial armed forces, well meeting the tasks in the new situation./.
