Training in national defense and security knowledge for target group 3 in 2025
On November 3rd, the Nghe An Provincial Council for National Defense and Security Education held the opening ceremony for the second training course on national defense and security knowledge for target group 3 in 2025.
Attending and directing the event was Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Defense and Security Education Council of Nghe An province.

Over a period of 12 days, 85 comrades, including heads and deputy heads of departments and equivalent positions in provincial and commune-level agencies and branches, studied the following topics: The Party's viewpoints, policies, and laws of the Vietnamese State on socio-economic development linked to strengthening and consolidating national defense, security, and foreign relations in the new situation; Fundamental issues concerning the Party's leadership and the State's management of national defense affairs at the central and local levels; Some issues concerning defense zones in the new situation, the responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and localities in building defense zones; Basic content of the Vietnamese National Defense Strategy, the Vietnamese Military Strategy, the Strategy for Protecting the Fatherland in Cyberspace; and the National Security Strategy...
In addition, the trainees practiced shooting the K54 rifle, lesson 1b.


Through the national defense and security knowledge training course, officials in category 3 from departments, agencies, and localities will enhance their awareness and responsibility in advising, proposing, leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of tasks of their agencies and units in conjunction with national defense and security tasks, contributing to building a strong economic and national defense potential, a comprehensive national defense system, and people's security when implementing the two-tiered local government organizational model.

At the end of the course, participants are assessed and awarded certificates of completion for the training in national defense and security knowledge for Category 3 officials.
