Vietnamese youth football team defeats Thailand again, winning the International U19 Tournament.
(Baonghean.vn) – After defeating China U19 with a single goal from Tran Manh Quynh in the semi-finals, Vietnam U19 faced Thailand U19 in the final and coach Grachen's team continued to show excellent form.
In the first half, the Vietnam U19 team suffered a major setback when young midfielder Tran Quoc Thanh from SLNA had to leave the field due to injury. During the first 45 minutes, the Thailand U19 defense played quite solidly, defending and covering for each other effectively. The Vietnam U19 team also held firm against the opportunities created by their opponents, resulting in no goals being scored.

In the second half, the Vietnam U19 team unexpectedly accelerated and scored the opening goal in the 59th minute. From a pass by Long Nhat, Xuan Tao broke through the offside trap, beat the goalkeeper, and easily put the ball into the empty net.

For the remainder of the match, U19 Thailand launched a strong attack, but the crossbar and post saved U19 Vietnam. Ultimately, U19 Vietnam secured a narrow 1-0 victory over U19 Thailand.
With this victory, coach Guillaume Grachen and his team won the 2019 International U19 Friendly Tournament.

(Baonghean.vn) - In the final group stage match of the International U19 Tournament between Vietnam and China, Tran Manh Quynh - a player from the SLNA training academy - scored the only goal of the match, leading the Vietnam U19 team to the final against Thailand U19.
