The flower doesn't know anger.
(Baonghean) - Flower growers don't get angry. And flowers never know anger! So, regardless of how much people love, hate, or are cruel to flowers, everywhere under the sun, when the time comes, everywhere is filled with vibrant colors and intoxicating fragrances. Flowers don't know anger, so "flowers still bloom along the roads of our homeland."
Flowers have always been present, adding beauty to our lives. They are intimately connected to the spiritual lives of humankind, whether in times of joy or sorrow: we congratulate each other with bouquets of fresh flowers; visiting relatives with a bouquet still glistening with dew drops evokes emotion in the host; and bringing a bouquet to the hospital lifts the spirits of patients. When someone passes away, family and friends pay their respects with carefully crafted wreaths.
Flowers sometimes symbolize indomitable strength. Last year, in mid-November, a heartbreaking massacre took place in Paris. After the massacre, a Vietnamese-French father took his 3-year-old son to commemorate the unfortunate victims. He told his son: "They have guns, but we have flowers. Flowers can fight against guns." This simple conversation between the father and son, broadcast on Canal+ (France), went viral on the internet. Needless to say, the phrase "Flowers can fight against guns" speaks volumes about the value of flowers.
Recently, flower seasons have also brought opportunities to the tourism industry. These include the buckwheat flower season in Ha Giang, the sunflower season in Nghe An or Da Lat, the wild sunflower season in Da Lat or Moc Chau, and the apricot and plum blossom season in the Northwest region… Even in Hanoi, flower seasons follow one another in rhythm with time: after the bauhinia flower season comes the crape myrtle flower season, followed by the lily, lotus, and milk flower seasons; and at the end of the year, in the crisp cold, the yellow mustard flower season bursts forth in the suburbs.
Flowers symbolize beauty. And who among us doesn't love beauty? Responding to the call of the flowering seasons, regardless of distance, people from all corners of the country eagerly seek out these flowers. This results in countless photos of flowers being posted on social media, exciting those who can't simply "pack their bags and travel." Sadly, after these joyful occasions, the flower fields become withered and barren. Flowers are trampled upon in the very act of loving them!
What would life be like without flowers? Without colors? Without fragrance? These questions reminded me of a story I once read. It was about a father who loved flowers and had many precious potted plants. One day, having to leave home, he called his son over and asked him to take care of his precious plants. The son diligently cared for the flowers, but due to a moment of carelessness, he knocked over the entire trellis, causing the pots to shatter. He was truly worried and sad. But in the end, he chose to wait for his father to return and apologize. The father called him closer and gently said, "I grow flowers to enjoy them and to beautify my soul, not to get angry."
Flower growers don't get angry. And flowers never know anger! So, regardless of how much people love or hate, or how cruel they are to flowers, everywhere, on this appointed day, bursts forth with vibrant colors and intoxicating fragrances. Flowers don't know anger, so "flowers still bloom along the country roads."
