Brabus pushes the V12 Biturbo engine on the Mercedes-AMG S65 to new heights, increasing the capacity to 888 horsepower, 267 horsepower higher than the original. Torque is increased from 1,000 Nm to 1,500 Nm at 4,200 rpm. However, engineers have electronically limited the torque level to 1,200 Nm to ensure engine durability. |

To achieve such incredible power, it was not just a matter of tweaking the software. Brabus had to increase the engine's displacement from 6.0 liters to 6.3 liters by increasing the cylinder bore. A new exhaust system, upgraded intercoolers and larger turbochargers were also fitted. A custom-developed control unit ensures that the systems work together in unison. |

The Brabus Rocket 900 drives the rear wheels through a recalibrated 7-speed automatic transmission. It allows acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h. That means it's faster than the electronically limited 250 km/h and 300 km/h (when equipped with the open-limit package) of the Mercedes-AMG S65. |
