The Vietnamese-born defender, born in 2005, who previously played for Burnley's U21 team (England) and made 32 appearances in the Professional Development League, is now facing the opportunity to move to HAGL on loan until the end of the season.

Despite his impressive resume, Brandon Ly was not given much playing time at Hanoi Police FC in the 2025/26 V.League season: he only played 4 minutes and was not included in the squad list for several recent rounds. A loan move, if completed, could help the young player gain playing time and adapt to the V.League rhythm.

On November 21st, the Vietnamese women's national team held their first training session during their 10-day training camp in Japan in preparation for the 33rd SEA Games. After an overnight flight from Hanoi to Nagoya, the entire team traveled to their hotel in Hamamatsu.
