Bruno Fernandes recently revealed that he received an attractive transfer offer during last summer's transfer window to leave Manchester United.
Since joining the Red Devils in early 2020, Fernandes has quickly become an indispensable part of the MU squad.
Fernandes revealed that he had been approached by several other clubs and had considered leaving. However, he ultimately decided to stay at Old Trafford. Speaking to ESPN, he said: “I was approached by a few clubs. They knew there was a possibility I might leave, so I received concrete offers. But Manchester United showed they needed me. That this was a time for change and the management wanted to do things differently.”
Despite remaining with Manchester United, Fernandes admits he isn't entirely comfortable at the club right now. He stated, "Old Trafford isn't having many positive moments. We haven't won a few games recently." Conversely, he feels more comfortable playing for the Portuguese national team, where he has a better environment: "I feel comfortable, the environment is good. I'm in my own country, speaking my own language and eating better food. I can enjoy football at the highest level."
