Many people took advantage of the opportunity to buy kumquats early. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, from Vinh Phu ward, shared: "This year the economy is more difficult, so I chose affordable ornamental plants to decorate for Tet. This type of kumquat tree is very suitable for decorating work desks and dining tables, and the price is also reasonable." (Photo: QA)

Mr. Le Van Cong, the owner of a Tet ornamental plant stall, said that since January 10th, he has imported 500 kumquat bonsai trees to serve the market. He expects that in the next few days, more Ky Son peach blossom trees will also be brought in for Tet sales. (Photo: QA)

According to Mr. Cong, this year's kumquat trees are bearing abundant, evenly round, beautifully colored fruit with thick green leaves. However, the impact of storms and heavy rain has increased costs, resulting in slightly higher prices compared to last year. Beautifully shaped bonsai kumquat trees have already been ordered by customers, with prices commonly ranging from 200,000 to 450,000 VND. (Photo: QA)
