Nghe An Provincial Post Office aims to achieve revenue of over 740 billion VND in 2022.
(Baonghean.vn) - Building on the achievements of 2021, along with specific solutions, in 2022, Nghe An Provincial Post Office strives to achieve revenue of over 740 billion VND.
On January 7th, the Nghe An Provincial Post Office held a conference to implement its tasks for 2022. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation, and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Bui Thi Minh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Nghe An Provincial Post Office, affirmed that in 2021, the national economy experienced a year full of fluctuations, difficulties, and challenges due to the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the Nghe An Provincial Post Office focused on implementing solutions to reorganize production to adapt to new conditions and flexibly change business methods. In addition, it promptly applied technology to production and business processes, focused on emulation movements, and promoted the business of various service groups to excellently complete the 2021 production and business plan targets, affirming its role in fulfilling its mission of serving the community, its position in the business field, and its contribution to the economic and social development of Nghe An province.

Total revenue in 2021 is estimated at VND 576.5 billion, achieving 103% of the plan assigned by the Corporation, an increase of 2% compared to 2020. Labor productivity: reached VND 185 million/person/year, an increase of 11% compared to 2020.
Some notable achievements in 2021 include: Successfully completing the 2021 production and business plan; Innovating production organization, upgrading infrastructure, and applying information technology to production, creating breakthrough development during the pandemic; Successfully implementing public administrative services and delivering over 1.6 million Citizen Identity Cards; Implementing electricity bill collection services through the Post Office system in 166 communes/wards. It is expected that in 2022, Nghe An Provincial Post Office and Nghe An Electricity Company will continue to expand collection areas throughout the province.At the same time,The Nghe An Provincial Post Office hasThe target of having postal service points with staff in 100% of communes has been achieved.
In 2021, the Provincial Post Office reviewed and recognized 77 initiatives and solutions from 212 participants, including 70 initiatives and solutions recognized at the Provincial Post Office level. These initiatives and solutions have been effectively implemented in various units, demonstrating the dedication and creativity of the employees in their work.

Given the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2021 the Provincial Post Office strictly implemented and complied with the directives of the local government on disease prevention and control; adhered to the 5K recommendations of the Ministry of Health; and increased the use of online tools for work communication, limiting large gatherings.

Building on its traditions, in 2021, Nghe An Provincial Post Office carried out community and social welfare activities such as: contributing to the Covid-19 prevention fund with 426 million VND; participating in the Prime Minister's "Internet and Computers for Children" fundraising program with 230 million VND; contributing to charitable programs such as Tet for the Poor; the Children's Protection Fund; the Fund for the Poor, donating gifts to poor communes like Chau Thuan, etc., with a total amount of 360 million VND; and successfully organizing a blood donation campaign with 114 units of blood.
In 2022, building on the achievements, Nghe An Provincial Post Office determined to continue implementing solutions to boost business development in order to fulfill the production and business plan targets set by the Corporation, while continuing to maintain and further improve the efficiency of the public postal network; and to achieve the goal of ensuring stable living conditions and income for employees.

Based on the business plan assigned by the Corporation, the Provincial Post Office set a target for 2022 to strive to complete and exceed the planned targets, achieving revenue of over 740 billion VND. The unit also proposed specific solutions for the following service groups: Postal and Delivery services; Postal Financial services; Media distribution services; Business at post office/cultural center points; production organization and application of information technology; quality management; customer care, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation, acknowledged the outstanding efforts of Nghe An Post Office during a challenging year. Regarding the direction for implementing tasks in 2022, he expressed his hope that Nghe An Post Office would continue to affirm its position in the national digital transformation; further enhance its standing, actively promote the MPITs platform, and contribute to the implementation of the one-stop administrative service project. He also emphasized the need for Nghe An Post Office to better collect customer information and proactively provide products and services.

With outstanding achievements in 2021, at the conference, Nghe An Provincial Post Office was honored to receive the Prime Minister's Emulation Flag; Vinh City Post Office received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives for outstanding achievements in their work from 2020 to 2021; the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Emulation Flag to the Nghe An Provincial Post Office Trade Union; the Ministry of Information and Communications awarded the Emulation Flag to 2 collectives, Vinh City Post Office and Yen Thanh District Post Office; Vietnam Post Corporation awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 units, honoring 9 outstanding individuals and 3 outstanding postal workers in 2021; Nghe An Newspaper awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 2 individuals for outstanding achievements in directing the purchase and use of the Party newspaper.
