Although the price of the fish is not too high, averaging from 1 to 4 million VND/fish depending on size, this fish has its own beauty that makes fish lovers in the cities very fond of it.

Mr. Ken Tran said that the queen fish is different from the emperor fish in color. While the emperor fish has a main color of green or blue, the main color of the queen fish is yellow. In addition, the tail of the emperor fish is orange-red, while the queen fish does not have this color.

“As for the living environment and food, these two species of fish are the same. They both live in water with a temperature of 18-30 degrees Celsius and when raised in a tank, the water does not need to be changed as often as other fish species, so it is very easy,” said Ken Tran.

Mr. Trong Minh, an ornamental snakehead fish shop owner in Hanoi, said: Currently, he is selling many types of ornamental snakehead fish, including queen fish, emperor fish, etc. "Currently, queen fish are the best sellers, there are weeks when I sell dozens of queen fish of all sizes. For example, fish of size 18 - 20cm cost 1.5 million VND/fish, size 28 - 30cm cost over 2.5 million VND/fish" - Mr. Minh revealed.

Queen snakehead fish are very friendly, players can use their hands to catch and play with them as much as they want.

Mr. Minh added that the queen fish has a characteristic yellow color and is very gentle and friendly, which is why fish enthusiasts are "crazy" about it and flock to buy it to raise.

According to Mr. Ken Tran, investing in raising queen snakehead fish is not too expensive, with only 5 to 10 million VND, players will have a beautiful fish tank.
