A great white shark circled the fishing boat and bit the engine, terrifying the fishermen on board in Australian waters.

Adon Samoilenko and another fisherman were forced to abandon their fishing trip off the coast of Adelaide, Australia, after an encounter with a great white shark, Mirror reported yesterday. The 4-meter-long shark repeatedly circled the boat, dived under the hull before biting the engine.

His worried companion suggested leaving, but Samoilenko stayed to film the shark surfacing angrily and attempting to capsize the boat. According to Samoilenko, it was likely another vessel that angered the shark, causing it to turn and attack his boat.
