Hong Nhung's representative recently updated the singer's health status on her official fan page. "Honestly, the recent controversy has put a lot of physical and mental pressure on her. She is now resting at home and her health has stabilized significantly. The doctor's request for her to take a short break from singing is for a short period to avoid further health damage, not a permanent retirement as many people believe."

On her part, Hong Nhung also expressed her gratitude for everyone's concern: "I would like to send my sincere thanks to all my brothers and sisters, friends, who have shown concern and encouragement for Nhung Bong. It's just that I overworked myself a bit, thinking I was still '17 and strong enough to break a buffalo' (a Vietnamese idiom meaning I'm still strong and resilient), which led to this situation. But thanks to the doctors' help, and especially the delicious meals prepared by my younger sister Kieu Anh, I'm feeling much better. Everyone's kind concern is better than any tonic. On the occasion of Thanksgiving, I wish everyone good health and thank God for giving us the loving and supportive friendship."

Previously, on November 22nd, Miss Vietnam Ha Kieu Anh posted a photo of Hong Nhung lying in a hospital bed amidst the uproar surrounding the diva's ex-husband's denial of infidelity.This led to the breakdown of the marriage.
Kieu Anh shared an update on Hong Nhung's health with a cryptic status: "Life is a mix of black and white. The arrogant rise to power, while the gentle suffer. Try your best, because everyone will always support you, and especially your two little angels will always be by your beloved mother's side." She also mentioned that the doctor advised Hong Nhung to stop singing because "she's very weak, but she won't listen."
