On October 28, singer Vu Ha (real name Vu Ngoc Ha) appeared at the Hanoi People's Court to attend the trial of a gambling and gambling organization case worth over VND2,500 billion at King Club, Pullman Hotel. The singer's appearance attracted public attention.
According to the indictment, Vu Ha was accused of opening a card under the name "MR. BARET" and participating in gambling by playing Slots and Roulette. The total amount of money the male singer used was determined to be 2,618.16 USD (equivalent to more than 63 million VND) and he lost 199.34 USD.
At the trial, the defendant was asked to be given mitigating circumstances due to his participation in charity and social welfare activities. At the end of the session, Vu Ha was released on bail. He covered his face and actively avoided the cameras of reporters.
