The whole V.League is bustling with shopping, but SLNA is still waiting for money
(Baonghean.vn) - While the football teams have almost stabilized their squad for the new 2020 season, Song Lam Nghe An football team is still facing many problems, including sponsorship issues.
The 2020 V.League will kick off on February 22 and many teams are making strong moves to prepare for the new season. A typical example is Thanh Hoa FC, a Thanh Hoa team that has brought in quality foreign players such as Hoang Vu Samson, Epassi Ewonde and Moses Oloya.
Another neighboring team of Song Lam Nghe An, rookie Hong Linh Ha Tinh, also brought in two foreign players, Almeida Santos from Viettel Club and Bruno De Sousa. Previously, Ha Tinh team successfully recruited three domestic players, including Le Manh Dung, Pham Hoang Lam and Doan Anh Viet.

The teams with the most spending in V.League in the transfer period include Viettel Club and Ho Chi Minh City Club. The "descendant of The Cong" team brought in two big contracts, Nguyen Manh and Khac Ngoc from SLNA.
Ho Chi Minh City, with many goals and ambitions in the 2020 season, also has quality new recruits such as the top scorer of the First Division Nguyen Xuan Nam from Pho Hien, winger Vo Huy Toan, goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung and striker Nguyen Cong Phuong.
The Thong Nhat Stadium team also brought in high-class foreign players such as Pape Diakite from Senegal, who was once included in the typical squad of the USL Championship tournament in the US. In addition, there is also Swedish national team striker Viktor Prodell and Chilean striker Matias Jadue.
Returning to SLNA, after saying goodbye to a series of key players, Van Binh retired, the Nghe An team only has veterans like Quang Tinh, Dinh Dong and players born in 1995, 1996. Coach Ngo Quang Truong has also added 10 young players for the next season, combined with the return of Vuong Quoc Trung and Binh Dinh Chau.

Regarding foreign players, SLNA has only tried out a Serbian central defender introduced by former player Damir Memovic but without any results. This player left SLNA because he did not meet professional requirements.
Operating costs are also a headache for SLNA club leaders. Up to now, only Bac A Bank has committed to accompany SLNA in the new season. The team has not been able to introduce a co-sponsor because of some procedures.
Initially, SLNA was expected to participate in a friendly tournament organized by Viettel Club in Hanoi. However, at the last minute, the team was unable to participate due to various reasons.
Participating in this tournament are 8 V.League teams including: Hai Phong, Than Quang Ninh, Saigon, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, HAGL, Quang Nam, Nam Dinh and host Viettel.
