This whale that washed ashore was small, measuring nearly 1 meter in length and weighing about 40 kg, with numerous injuries. This has raised many concerns and questions about why so many whales have washed ashore in just under a month.
After being informed, many fishermen and representatives of the Nghi Huong ward government (Cua Lo) were present to conduct a funeral ceremony for the whale according to folk beliefs.
