After 4 days of exciting activities, on the afternoon of April 17, the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2016 with the theme "Vietnam - paradise of sea and island tourism" closed. Notably, the new feature of the Fair is to build Vietnam's tourism destinations: Northwest, Central Highlands - South Central Coast has initially attracted the attention of the public.

Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2016 attracted about 58 thousand people to visit and buy tourism products.

With more than 700 businesses from 25 countries and territories, the Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2016 attracted about 58 thousand visitors to visit and buy tourism products. Revenue of travel companies reached 202 billion VND.

According to Ms. Dang Bich Tho, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Red Tour Joint Stock Company, the fair not only promotes tourism stimulus, but is also an opportunity for Vietnamese travel companies to learn from foreign agencies and businesses about experiences in connecting and organizing tours.

“I understand their trends, talk to them and learn that travel companies in France are now doing things differently. If before they organized tours and itineraries for tourists to travel to other countries, now they will organize events, follow a theme and the tours and itineraries will now be created by the customers themselves. In the past, when doing business, people had to set out a 5-year, 10-year business strategy, but now it is only 2 or 3 years. We must always change, follow the direction of the times, not just follow our own thinking,” said Ms. Tho.
