(Baonghean.vn) - To ensure security, order, and safety for the election, localities have been implementing many effective and practical measures.

*In Anh Son districtThe District Election Committee established a Security and Order Subcommittee; its core force is the police, in coordination with military and border guard forces in the area, ready to deal with situations that may obstruct or disrupt the election by malicious elements.

The Anh Son District Election Security and Order Subcommittee assigned forces to closely monitor the situation at polling stations, ensuring absolute safety for all polling areas.

Accordingly, the Anh Son District Police established patrol teams at polling stations throughout the district. Officers from each department were present in all 21 communes and towns, coordinating with other functional forces to effectively count the number of voters in the area; and closely monitoring individuals with criminal records.

In areas with a large Catholic population, the district election steering committee met with priests in parishes to encourage Catholic voters to participate in the election; they also discussed with religious leaders to arrange religious schedules that did not conflict with election times so that voters in Catholic areas could cast their ballots in accordance with the prescribed quotas.

The commune police and militia forces, in coordination with the district police, intensified inspections of printing and photocopying establishments and internet service businesses; checked household registration, temporary residence, and temporary absence records; managed and confiscated weapons and explosives; and inspected and dealt with illegal lending and pawnshop operations. They also ensured the safety of polling stations, ballot box locations, and posted candidate and voter lists.

With many decisive, proactive, and positive solutions, the security and social order situation in Anh Son district is ensured, ready for the election day to take place safely, democratically, fairly, and openly, reflecting the will, aspirations, and right of the people to self-governance.
