Localities and units launched the "Tree Planting Festival in eternal remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh".

In response to the Tree Planting Festival initiated by President Ho Chi Minh,February 10thNghe An Department of TourismOrganizing the offering of incense and flowers and planting of commemorative trees at the Truông Bồn National Historical Site in Mỹ Sơn commune (Đô Lương district).

On this occasion, officials and employees of the Department of Tourism planted 30 crape myrtle trees in the grounds of the Truông Bồn National Historical Site, demonstrating the principle of remembering one's roots, commemorating and paying tribute to the heroes and martyrs who fell for the independence, freedom, and peace of the Fatherland.

In response to the Tet Tree Planting campaign, on the morning of February 10th, the People's Committee of Nghia Thang commune held a tree planting event.Nghia Dan districtThey organized the launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho" to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Pig 2019.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, officials and employees from district-level departments and units, the armed forces, and a large number of people from Nghia Thang commune, as well as teachers and students from Lien Thang Primary and Secondary Schools, actively participated in the campaign.

According to the plan, for the 2019 Tree Planting Festival and the 2019 Reforestation Campaign, Nghia Dan district aims to plant approximately 870 hectares of forest and more than 5,000 scattered trees, focusing on windbreak forests, critical protection forests; the grounds of agencies, schools, residential areas, industrial zones, and rural transportation routes in the district.

To achieve the set plan, the district assigned specific targets to each unit; and encouraged the people to actively plant trees, ensuring quality and that every tree planted would survive.

Minh Thai

According to the plan for the Spring Tree Planting Festival of the Year of the Pig 2019,Anh Son districtOver 10,000 trees will be planted. To ensure a high survival rate, the Anh Son District People's Committee requires localities within the district to select suitable, high-quality tree species; organize tree planting according to the plan to increase income, create a green, clean and beautiful landscape, and protect the environment; and assign specific tree planting targets to each commune and town.

In 2019, Anh Son district aimed to plant 1,300 hectares of concentrated forest and over 100,000 scattered trees; and to properly care for and protect nearly 30,000 hectares of existing forest.

Following the launching ceremony in Kim Tien village, Phuc Son commune, all 21 communes and towns in Anh Son district simultaneously launched their spring tree planting campaigns with enthusiastic competitive spirit.

The Tet Tree Planting Festival, in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh, is one of the meaningful activities for the people of the entire province in general and the people of Anh Son district in particular. It actively contributes to improving the environment and ecosystem, while also contributing to the task of economic development, poverty reduction, and raising income and quality of life for the people.

Thai Hien

In Hung Thong commune,Hung Nguyen districtThe district organized the launching ceremony for the Spring Tree Planting Festival of the Year of the Pig 2019. Immediately after the ceremony, district leaders, students from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School, and other forces planted nearly 300 trees along the 12/9 road. In the first days of the Spring of the Year of the Pig, Hung Nguyen district planted more than 1,000 trees along Le Xuan Dao road.

In response to the "Tree Planting Festival," Hung Nguyen district will plant 20,000 trees at agencies, units, and schools; depending on the actual conditions of the premises, a suitable number will be planted in a dispersed manner, and 20 hectares of forest will be planted in the spring.

To achieve the set plan, the District People's Committee assigned specific targets to each unit and encouraged the people to actively plant trees, ensuring quality and that every tree planted would survive.

Kieu Hoa

On February 9th and 10th (the 5th and 6th days of the Lunar New Year), the unitsNghe An Border GuardIn coordination with relevant units and localities, they organized tree planting activities during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Pig 2019, contributing to the creation of a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

The Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station (Thanh Chuong district) collaborated with the Thanh Thuy Border Customs and the Nam On Border Police (Xay Cham Phon district, Bolikhamsai province, Laos) to plant over 500 trees of various types, creating a green, clean, and beautiful landscape for the Thanh Thuy - Nam On border gate area.

Meanwhile, in Anh Son district, the Phuc Son Border Guard Post, in coordination with the Management Boards of Veu 1, Veu 2, Veu 3, and Veu 4 villages in Phuc Son commune, organized for officers, soldiers, and local people to plant timber trees, fruit trees, and ornamental plants along both sides of the roads and in the grounds of the community cultural centers in the villages.
