Local authorities and sectors donate gifts and provide support to the poor.

*Afternoon of November 8th, Nghe An Provincial Civil Enforcement DepartmentThe organization donated 10 pairs of breeding goats to the poor in Lang Son commune, Anh Son district.

This is a poor commune assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Enforcement Department for assistance. Over the years, the Provincial Enforcement Department has implemented many programs to help Lang Son commune, such as donating gifts and providing support to the poor and underprivileged students. In particular, the Enforcement Department's program to support goat breeding has proven effective, helping the poor in the commune to have additional livelihoods and escape poverty.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Comrade Pham Quoc Nam - Deputy Director of the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department - expressed his hope that these meaningful gifts would be well taken care of by the families, providing them with additional motivation to strive to overcome poverty.

On this occasion, the Youth Union of the Provincial Enforcement Department also presented a gift to Ngoc Han, a child with particularly difficult circumstances whom the Youth Union has pledged to help.

* From November 4-8,Ky Son mountainous districtThey organized the distribution of 270 breeding cows to poor and near-poor households in the area.

Among these are 207 local breeds and 63 Sindhi crossbreds, each weighing 130 kg or more, fully quarantined and vaccinated. All of the cattle were handed over to poor households and ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances in the district.

This is the largest support package in Ky Son district in 2018, implemented under the Poverty Reduction Development Support Project, part of the Government's Program 135, with a total budget of 3.8 billion VND.

* In Dong Van commune (Tan Ky district)The An Vui Account and Phung Su Charity Group organized the handover of a Solidarity House to Ms. Le Thi Tinh, residing in Thung Mon hamlet.

Ms. Tinh's family is classified as a poor household, facing difficult circumstances as her husband and children passed away prematurely. She is also ill and lacks stable employment. On this occasion, philanthropists have donated 45 million VND to Ms. Tinh to help her renovate her house and make it more comfortable.

* Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu DistrictIn coordination with Quynh Thach commune, we organized a ceremony to hand over a solidarity house to the family of Mr. Vuong Dinh Dong, in Hamlet 4, Quynh Thach commune.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Dong's family is classified as a poor household. Mr. Dong himself suffers from congenital deafness and mutism, and his wife left him and their son. The family's long-standing house is in serious disrepair.

To share Mr. Dong's difficulties, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district allocated 20 million VND from the district's fund for supporting the poor, and Quynh Thach commune contributed 10 million VND to help build his house. After 3 months of construction, the new two-room house, with an area of ​​over 85m2, was completed at a total cost of 300 million VND.

On this occasion, Quynh Thach commune and the Front Committee of Hamlet 4 also presented gifts and some essential items for daily life to the family.
