Local authorities are implementing Resolution No. 5 of the Central Committee (12th term).

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 4th, the districts of Quynh Luu, Que Phong, and Anh Son organized a conference to disseminate the Central Resolution No. 5 (12th Congress) to key district and grassroots officials.

In Quynh Luu,Nearly 300 delegates were briefed on three resolutions of the 5th Conference of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (12th term), including: the Resolution on perfecting the socialist-oriented market economy institution; continuing to restructure, innovate and improve the efficiency of state-owned enterprises; and developing the private economy to become an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy.

Also at the conference, the Quynh Luu District Party Committee disseminated and implemented Regulation No. 86/QD-TU dated June 1, 2017, of the Central Party Committee on supervision within the Party; Directive No. 13/CT-TU dated July 5, 2017, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on improving the quality of Party branch activities; and Directive No. 12 dated June 29, 2017, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the role of setting an example, practicing thrift, and combating waste among Party members and officials.

In his remarks at the conference, Comrade Hoang Van Bo, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee, requested that immediately after the conference concludes, agencies and units, according to their assigned functions and tasks, direct the development and effective implementation of the action program to implement Resolution No. 5 (12th Party Congress) of the Central Committee of the Party, linking it to the practical realities of their respective sectors, agencies, and units. This will serve as the basis for developing specific action programs and plans for each Party committee and agency, proposing directions, objectives, and solutions in the assigned fields, tasks, and work.

At the same time, we will continue to research, propose solutions, and focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles in each field so that the viewpoints, guiding directions, and basic contents of the Resolution can be applied and effectively implemented in practice.

At the conference, delegates were briefed on three resolutions, including: the Resolution on developing the private economy as an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy; perfecting the socialist market economy; and continuing to restructure, innovate, and improve the quality and efficiency of state-owned enterprises. They were also briefed on Regulation No. 86-QD/TW dated June 1, 2017, of the Politburo on supervision within the Party.

Following the conference, Party committees, Party organizations, and leaders of agencies and departments should focus on leading and directing the preparation and implementation of the directives for all cadres and Party members in their respective agencies and units. In addition, it is necessary to enhance revolutionary vigilance and proactively and effectively combat the erroneous views of hostile forces, protecting the Party's viewpoints and guidelines. The implementation process should be linked to the fulfillment of the political tasks of the agency or unit, contributing to the successful completion of all assigned functions and tasks.

In his address to the conference, Comrade Dang Thanh Tung, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council, emphasized: The conference to study and implement the resolution is a broad and profound political activity of special importance, aimed at creating a transformation in awareness, unifying will and action throughout the entire Party Committee, first and foremost among key officials at all levels and sectors from the district to the grassroots.

The comrade requested that delegates focus on studying, discussing, and clarifying the core contents and new issues in the documents of the 12th National Congress; organize the development of a serious action program, and make in-depth connections to address the practical issues currently facing their localities and units.

Following the conference, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee will focus on directing the implementation of the study and understanding of Resolution No. 5 (12th Congress) of the Party Central Committee at grassroots Party organizations, completing it at the grassroots level by August 2017.
