Water is still flooding the roads leading to hamlets 6, 7, and 9 in Hung Lam commune, Hung Nguyen district, along the dike.

In the southern part of Nam Dan district, specifically hamlets 5, 6, and 7 in Nam Cuong commune and hamlets 12, 13, and 14 in Nam Trung commune, there is still flooding affecting roads, fields, gardens, and water supply facilities. Facing the risk of disease outbreaks, health officials at the stations are directing and guiding residents in treating and rinsing wells and empty tanks with chemicals; collecting, burying, and treating dead livestock and poultry washed ashore in the area with lime powder.

Authorities are urging residents to clear bushes, collect waste, spray insecticides, drain stagnant ponds, and especially clean livestock and poultry pens.

The health sector continues to focus on raising public awareness of disease prevention, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and promoting the consumption of cooked food and boiled water.
