Local authorities are implementing tasks for the 2016-2017 school year.

(Baonghean.vn) – On August 24th, many localities throughout the province held ceremonies to summarize the 2015-2016 school year and implement tasks for the 2016-2017 school year.

*In Yen Thanh,During the past school year, through various forms of social mobilization, the entire district built and put into use 65 new, sturdy classrooms; two more schools were recognized as meeting national standards, raising the total number of schools meeting standards to 84, reaching a rate of 70.5%. Through assessment, an additional 11 schools achieved level 3 in educational quality.

The entire district has 45 teachers recognized as excellent teachers at the provincial level and 189 teachers recognized as excellent teachers at the district level. The quality of advanced education has improved, with 737 9th-grade students achieving district-level excellent student status and 101 11th-grade students recognized at the provincial level. In the 2016 National High School Graduation Examination, 10 students from the district achieved a total score of 27 points or higher across three subjects.

The People's Committee of Yen Thanh District awarded prizes to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the 2015-2016 school year.

At the end of the 2015-2016 school year, one individual received a commendation from the Prime Minister; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 individuals; commendations were given to 21 advanced labor collectives; 5 collectives and 38 individuals had outstanding achievements; the Yen Thanh District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to advanced labor collectives and 17 students who achieved high scores in the 2015-2016 national high school graduation exam.

On this occasion, Bao Viet Nghe An also presented 30 gifts to 30 underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties, each gift worth 300,000 VND.

*At the end of the 2015-2016 school year, Thanh Chuong districtNineteen collectives were recognized as outstanding advanced labor collectives by the Provincial People's Committee, nine collectives and 25 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, and the District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 advanced collectives.

Awards were presented to outstanding teachers at the provincial level.

The District Association for the Promotion of Learning also awarded certificates of merit from the Central Association for the Promotion of Learning of Vietnam to 3 collectives and commemorative medals from the Central Association for the Promotion of Learning of Vietnam to 4 individuals, and presented awards to 7 teachers and 22 students who achieved high results in teacher excellence and student excellence competitions at all levels.

In the 2016-2017 school year, Thanh Chuong district will focus all resources on building a leading and outstanding district in education.

At the conference, the District Education Promotion Association also launched the 2016 Education Promotion Month.
