Localities posthumously awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother
(Baonghean.vn) - Representatives of local leaders sent their deep gratitude and emphasized that the posthumous awarding of the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother is the Fatherland's recognition of the immense contributions and great sacrifices of mothers.
Afternoon of July 26,Anh Son districtsolemnly held the ceremony to confer the honorary title of the State "Heroic Vietnamese Mother". Attending were representatives of Anh Son district and relatives of the heroic Vietnamese mother's family.

During this period, Anh Son district had one mother posthumously awarded the State honorary title “Vietnamese Heroic Mother”, that is mother Nguyen Thi Ky in village 5, Long Son commune. She had 6 children in the army, including 2 martyrs, Nguyen Cong Ky and Nguyen Cong Binh; 2 war invalids, Nguyen Cong Ba (deceased) and Nguyen Cong Hoa.

Also on the same day, atQuynh Luu district, authorized by the President, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 3 relatives of the mothers' families including: mother Le Thi Thiu - Quynh Hoa commune, mother Ho Thi Thuong - Quynh Nghia commune and mother Ho Thi Tuat - Tien Thuy commune.

Up to this point, Quynh Luu district has 278 mothers who have been awarded or posthumously awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother, 8 of whom are still alive.
