Local authorities posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother.
(Baonghean.vn) - Representatives of local leaders expressed their deep gratitude, while emphasizing that posthumously awarding the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother is the nation's recognition of the immense contributions and great sacrifices of these mothers.
On the afternoon of July 26th,Anh Son districtA solemn ceremony was held to posthumously award the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother". Representatives from Anh Son district and family members of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers were in attendance.

During this period, Anh Son district had one mother posthumously awarded the State's honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother": Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ky from Hamlet 5, Long Son commune. She had six sons serving in the army, including two martyrs, Nguyen Cong Ky and Nguyen Cong Binh; and two wounded soldiers, Nguyen Cong Ba (deceased) and Nguyen Cong Hoa.

Also on that day, atQuynh Luu districtOn behalf of the President of Vietnam, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District awarded the State's honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to three family members of the mothers: Mother Le Thi Thieu - Quynh Hoa commune, Mother Ho Thi Thuong - Quynh Nghia commune, and Mother Ho Thi Tuat - Tien Thuy commune.

To date, Quynh Luu district has 278 mothers who have been awarded or posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother, and 8 of them are still alive.
