With a four-day holiday and pleasant weather forecasts, many families and groups of friends have decided to take advantage of the National Day holiday on September 2nd to go sightseeing and traveling. Currently, tourist destinations in Nghe An are ready to welcome and serve visitors during the holiday.

Enhance the experience

With a relatively long holiday and pleasant weather, many people chose to "head up the mountain" this year to visit and experience eco-tourism and community-based tourism destinations in western Nghe An province. As autumn arrives, the weather is no longer scorching hot, the sky is a deep blue, and the sunlight is bright yellow; spending time in the mountains and exploring the beauty of the villages is a truly sensible decision.

Understanding the preferences of tourists, tourist destinations in western Nghe An province have made thorough preparations to welcome and serve visitors. According to Mr. Dang Trong Tan, Director of Hon Mat Tourist Area (Nghia Dan district), several groups have already contacted him to visit and experience the area. To serve visitors during the National Day holiday, he has built two additional villas and put them into service, increasing the number of guests to 70.

“The landscaping system has been enhanced, more check-in points have been built, and there are koi ponds, pet gardens, and orchards. A wider variety of products and services have been offered, and staffing has been increased for the holiday season. At the same time, promotional policies are being implemented, and we are committed to not increasing prices, even during the holidays,” said Mr. Dang Trong Tan.

At Hon Mat, visitors can immerse themselves in the dreamy natural scenery, take motorboats and canoes to admire the vast lake and hills. There are also venues for parties, cultural and artistic exchanges, and a children's playground.

Similar to Hon Mat, the Pha Lai eco-tourism area (Con Cuong) has received many inquiries from tourists seeking experiences during the National Day holiday. At Pha Lai, visitors primarily explore the beauty of the mountains and forests of Pu Mat and the cultural life and customs of the Thai ethnic minority. Traditional Thai dishes such as five-colored sticky rice, grilled meat, meatballs, and catfish have also been collected and prepared to serve tourists during the holiday.

Ms. Vi Thi Tham, Director of Pha Lai Eco-tourism Area, said: “We have contacted homestays and accommodation establishments in the area to prepare rooms, meals, and cultural performances to welcome and serve guests during the holiday. With cheerfulness, hospitality, and professional service, we hope many tourists will feel comfortable and enjoy their visit to the Con Cuong mountains and forests during this special occasion.”

Add more check-in points.

The village's performing arts group practices regularly and is always ready to perform and interact with tourists. Especially, in Muong Dan, visitors can enjoy dishes with rich mountain and forest flavors such as sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes, moss, meatballs, river fish, etc.”
