Businesses in Nghe An province need to recruit approximately 14,000 employees for various positions.
The "Job Fair, Phase 2, 2026" will feature the participation of 15 businesses with a demand for approximately 14,000 job positions, and one company that provides training and labor supply for businesses in the WHA Nghe An Industrial Park.
On the morning of April 25th, at the WHA Nghe An Industrial Park, the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, in coordination with the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Than Linh commune, and WHA Nghe An Joint Stock Company, organized the "Job Fair - Phase 2, 2026".
Attending the event were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Thai Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duc - Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone; also present were representatives of leaders from provincial departments, agencies, and businesses.

An additional 14,000 jobs will be created for workers.
In recent years, the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks in the province have been developing rapidly, attracting many large-scale FDI projects, especially in the fields of electronics, high technology, and supporting industries. This development has created a great demand for skilled, disciplined, and highly professional human resources.
According to survey data, the demand for new employees in economic zones and industrial parks in the province in 2026 is approximately 90,000 workers. Of these, the first job fair (February 28, 2026) at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park will feature 20 participating businesses offering more than 70,000 job positions.

The job fair attracted the participation of 15 businesses with approximately 14,000 job openings and one company providing training and labor supply for businesses in the WHA Industrial Park. The job openings offered attractive salaries and focused primarily on sectors such as: electronic components, automotive parts, garment manufacturing, footwear, and supporting industries.
Nearly 1,500 workers and students registered to participate in person, along with online consultations and networking opportunities to facilitate participation for workers in remote areas.

Organizing job fairs is not only an activity to connect labor supply and demand for businesses, but also a practical solution to create stable job opportunities for workers right in their hometowns; helping businesses access suitable and timely human resources; and supporting students in career orientation that closely matches market needs.

The government stands alongside businesses.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh emphasized: 2026 is of special importance, being the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 20th Provincial Party Congress; to achieve the targets of the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2026-2030), attracting and supporting investors and the business community, as well as fostering close ties between investors and workers, and improving labor quality, plays a crucial role.

To create a living environment and stability for workers to stay long-term, Nghe An province is not only rolling out the red carpet to attract investors, but also striving to build real "homes" for workers. The province has been focusing on accelerating the progress of social housing projects and housing for workers around key industrial zones; resolutely directing the removal of procedural difficulties so that workers can quickly access affordable housing.

In addition, priority will soon be given to investing in facilities such as schools, healthcare, culture, and recreation around industrial zones.
Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hoped that workers would confidently and proactively seize job opportunities offered by businesses; regularly improve their foreign language skills and life skills, as well as digital skills, to integrate into the working environment of multinational corporations.
According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the second job fair in 2026, connecting businesses and workers, is not simply an event to connect labor supply and demand, but a concrete action to realize the province's determination to accompany businesses and workers, creating a sustainable employment ecosystem in the province.

To ensure the job fair yields tangible results, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that relevant departments, agencies, job training institutions, job placement centers, and businesses and investors continue to closely monitor and effectively implement the programs and plans of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee regarding labor resources.
This includes focusing on attracting workers to businesses in industrial zones; implementing support and training policies to help workers establish sustainable careers in their hometowns. It also involves accelerating the construction of social housing projects No. 3 and No. 4 for workers in the WHA and Nam Cam industrial zones.
Connecting supply and demand should be considered an ongoing task. It is necessary to build and promote digital recruitment platforms, with regularly updated and convenient job postings for both workers and businesses.
For businesses, training institutions, and job placement centers, it is necessary to develop and implement coordination regulations to proactively train and recruit skilled workers to meet the production needs of businesses.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his wish that investors and businesses would consider their employees as "the most valuable cell," nurturing them with appropriate welfare benefits and income, and providing a safe and friendly working environment so that employees can fully develop their abilities and view the business as their "second home."

"Nghe An province is committed to continuing to stand alongside, listen to, and share with businesses and workers to jointly build and develop a new image of the province that is dynamic, efficient, and humane, worthy of the homeland of the beloved President Ho Chi Minh," emphasized Thai Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
