Organizations and units donate gifts to students in flood-affected areas.

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 15th and 16th, many units and organizations continued to donate gifts and support to students and people in areas affected by the recent floods.

In response to the program "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth, accompanying children to school," the Youth Union of the Voice of Vietnam Radio Station, in coordination with the Thanh Chuong District Youth Union, organized a gift-giving event for students in several communes in Thanh Duc commune and Dung town.

The delegation presented 40 gifts to underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties, each worth 500,000 VND; 50 sets of new clothes to students at Thanh Duc commune kindergarten; and many books and notebooks to Nguyen Canh Chan High School. In Thanh Lam commune, the delegation presented 20 gifts to students with particularly difficult circumstances, each consisting of 500,000 VND in cash and a set of textbooks.

This is a gesture of support from the Youth Union members of the Voice of Vietnam Radio towards students in impoverished districts affected by floods, aiming to share and encourage them to overcome difficulties and strive for a better future.

* Nghi Loc:

On the morning of November 16th, the Standing Committee of the Nghi Loc District Youth Union organized the handover of 20 bicycles and 350 gift packages to poor students and flood-affected families facing difficult circumstances.

Here, 20 disadvantaged students from Nghi My, Nghi Phuong, and Hung Dong junior high schools, as well as Nghi Loc 2 and Nghi Loc 5 high schools, were each presented with a bicycle worth 1.5 million VND by the Standing Committee of the Nghi Loc District Youth Union.

250 students from Nghi Phuong, Nghi Dong, and Nghi Hung primary schools received gifts including school bags, pencil cases, and 15 notebooks. The delegation also gave 1 million VND and 20 kg of rice to 100 poor households severely affected by the recent floods.

This is the "Accompanying the people and students in disaster-stricken areas" activity of the youth of Nghi Loc, aimed at encouraging students to strive for academic excellence; and motivating families affected by natural disasters to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
