Units and organizations give gifts to students in flood-affected areas
(Baonghean.vn)- On November 15 and 16, many units and organizations continued to give gifts to support students and people in areas affected by the recent flood.

Responding to the program "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth, accompanying children to school", the Youth Union of Voice of Vietnam Radio in coordination with Thanh Chuong District Youth Union organized gift giving to students in some communes in Thanh Duc commune and Dung town.

The delegation presented 40 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, each worth 500,000 VND; 50 new sets of clothes to students of Thanh Duc kindergarten and many books to Nguyen Canh Chan high school. In Thanh Lam commune, the delegation presented 20 gifts to students with especially difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND in cash and a set of textbooks.
This is the sentiment of the youth union members of Voice of Vietnam towards students in poor districts affected by floods, to share and encourage them to overcome difficulties./.

* Nghi Loc:
On the morning of November 16, the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District Youth Union organized the giving of 20 bicycles and 350 gifts to poor students and flood-affected households in difficult circumstances.
Here, 20 disadvantaged students from Nghi My, Nghi Phuong, Hung Dong secondary schools and Nghi Loc 2 and Nghi Loc 5 high schools were each given a bicycle worth 1.5 million VND by the Nghi Loc District Youth Union Standing Committee.

250 students from Nghi Phuong, Nghi Dong, and Nghi Hung primary schools were given gifts including school bags, pencil cases, and 15 notebooks. The delegation also gave 100 poor households in difficult circumstances, severely affected by the recent floods, 1 million VND/household and 20 kg of rice.
This is an activity "Accompanying compatriots and students in disaster areas" by Nghi Loc youth to encourage students to strive to study well; encourage households affected by natural disasters to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives./.
