Christmas greetings and gift giving activities

* On the occasion of Christmas 2018, the leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front CommitteeDo Luong districtorganized delegations to present flowers and congratulate priests, dignitaries and parishioners in the district.

At the parishes, the district leaders acknowledged the positive contributions of priests, religious dignitaries and parishioners in implementing patriotic emulation movements, the movement of the whole people uniting to build new rural areas and urban civilization. The parishioners have made many contributions to building traffic works, cultural houses and building solidarity between religions.

On this occasion, the district leaders presented flowers to congratulate the priests, religious dignitaries, key cadres of the diocese and parishioners on a peaceful, happy Christmas and all good things.

The priests and dignitaries thanked the Party Committee and government for their attention in coordinating, solving problems and creating all conditions for people to develop the economy and improve their lives.

* Nghia Dan District Youth UnionCoordinate with district-affiliated youth unions to give gifts to disadvantaged Catholic students in the district.

On this occasion, 17 gifts were given to students in difficult circumstances, sick and ill in the area, with a total value of more than 5 million VND, with the wish that they will strive to study well, and have a peaceful and happy Christmas.

Also in Nghia Dan, 1/5 High SchoolThe organization gave 9 gifts to Catholic students of the school who are in difficult circumstances but have excelled in their studies.

The school leaders also wished the students a warm and peaceful Christmas. On this occasion, 1/5 High School also organized for more than 1,200 students to sign a commitment not to violate regulations on fireworks before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2019.

* Tan Ky District Women's Uniongave gifts to Catholic cadres in Tan Huong, Nghia Hoan, Tan An on the occasion of Christmas 2018, each gift was a warm blanket, the total value of the gifts was nearly 4 million VND.
