At the parishes, the district leaders acknowledged the positive contributions of the priests, religious dignitaries, and parishioners in implementing patriotic emulation movements, the movement for national unity in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. The parishioners have made many contributions to the construction of roads, cultural centers, and the building of unity between Catholics and non-Catholics.
On this occasion, the district leaders presented flowers to congratulate the priests, religious dignitaries, key officials in the Catholic community, and parishioners, wishing them a peaceful, happy, and blessed Christmas.
The priests and religious leaders expressed their gratitude for the attention of the Party committee and the government in coordinating and resolving issues, and creating all the necessary conditions for the people to develop the economy and improve their lives.

On this occasion, 17 gifts, worth over 5 million VND in total, were given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and those suffering from illness in the area, with the hope that they will strive to excel in their studies and have a peaceful and happy Christmas.

The school leaders also wished the students a warm and peaceful Christmas. On this occasion, 1/5 High School also organized for more than 1,200 students to sign a commitment not to violate regulations on firecrackers before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Pig 2019.
* Tan Ky District Women's UnionGifts were presented to Catholic association officials in Tan Huong, Nghia Hoan, and Tan An on the occasion of Christmas 2018. Each gift was a warm blanket, with a total value of nearly 4 million VND.
