His mother has had uterine fibroids for five years without surgery, and the tumors have now become complicated. At the end of November, upon hearing that his mother was going to Hanoi for surgery, Hai received an advance of 10 million VND from his salary and drove his motorbike from Vinh City to bring the money back to help cover the surgical costs, but unfortunately, he was involved in a traffic accident. Currently, Hai is being treated at the Provincial Friendship General Hospital in a vegetative state.

All of the above funds were contributed by members of the "Awakening Hearts" group and philanthropists to help Mr. Hai's family in difficult circumstances.

Since the beginning of 2018, the shop has been regularly opened on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by the female members of the association, operating on the principle of "those who have extra can donate, those who need can come and take." Most of the clothes in the shop are donated by union members, women's association members, acquaintances, and friends. After being collected, the clothes are sorted, washed, and neatly arranged and hung in the shop by the female members.

The initiative of the Women's Union of the ward has received support and brought joy to many people. The stall has received and distributed thousands of clothing items to members in need, most of which are very new and clean. The Union has also collected and donated two shipments of goods to the mountainous district of Tuong Duong and one shipment to support the highlands of Bac Can province.
