Expected timelines for university admissions in 2022

The Ministry of Education and Training has just released a tentative implementation schedule.Admissionuniversities and colleges in 2022. Accordingly, regarding direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates will send their applications to training institutions before July 10.

Schools organize direct admission for candidates according to regulations and send direct admission results and admission notices to candidates 3 days after announcing high school graduation exam results.

After 5 days from the date of admission results, schools will update the list of candidates for direct admission.

Three days after the announcement of the high school graduation exam results, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure input quality for teacher training and health sectors.

One day after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the threshold for ensuring input quality, schools will adjust and announce the scores for receiving application documents on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal and the school's website.

Candidates register for the first round of admission online at the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal and the national public service portal after the end of the high school exam (lasting 6 weeks).

After 1 day of announcing the results of the high school exam review, the Ministry of Education and Training will download the official database for admission consideration.

5 days after the official database upload date, the first round of admissions will be conducted by training institutions; then virtual screening will be organized.

The first round of admission results will be announced 1 day after the virtual screening results.

After the first admission period of training institutions ends, schools that still lack enrollment quotas will consider additional enrollment.

Before December 31, 2021, schools report 2022 enrollment results.

Previously, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that the 2022 high school graduation exam is expected to take place in July, because the end of the 12th grade school year in some localities may have to be extended until the end of June.

For candidates registering for the first round of admission, all admission wishes can be registered online after finishing the high school graduation exam; the learning results of grades 10, 11, and 12 will be updated to the industry database, and this data will be checked and reviewed after being synchronized to the exam and admission management system./.
