Expected timelines for university admissions in 2022

The Ministry of Education and Training has just released a proposed implementation schedule.admissionsRegarding university and college admissions in 2022, and the implementation of direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates will submit their applications to the training institutions before July 10th.

Universities organize direct admissions for candidates according to regulations and send the direct admission results and enrollment notifications to candidates 3 days after the announcement of the high school graduation exam results.

Five days after the admission results are announced, schools will update the list of candidates admitted through direct enrollment.

Three days after the announcement of the high school graduation exam results, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the minimum quality assurance thresholds for admission to teacher training and health-related fields.

One day after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the minimum quality assurance threshold for university entrance, universities will adjust and announce the minimum application scores on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal and the university's website.

Candidates register for the first round of admissions online through the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal and the national public service portal after the end of the high school graduation exam (lasting 6 weeks).

One day after the results of the high school graduation exam review are announced, the Ministry of Education and Training will upload the official database for university admissions.

Five days after the official database is uploaded, the first round of admissions will be conducted by the training institutions; followed by the elimination of fraudulent applications.

The results of the first round of admissions will be announced one day after the results of the virtual filtering process are available.

After the first round of admissions at educational institutions is completed, schools that still have vacancies will conduct supplementary admissions.

Schools must report their 2022 enrollment results before December 31, 2021.

Previously, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training stated that the 2022 high school graduation exam was expected to take place in July, as the end of the school year for 12th graders in some localities might have to be extended until the end of June.

The Ministry of Education and Training also stated that2022 High School Graduation ExamBasically, things will remain stable as in 2021, with the planned adjustments mainly in technical aspects such as: registration for the high school graduation exam and university entrance exam must be done through the Ministry's portal or the National Public Service Portal.

For candidates applying in the first round of admissions, all application preferences must be submitted online after the completion of the high school graduation exam; academic results from grades 10, 11, and 12 will be updated to the departmental database, and this data will be checked and verified after being synchronized with the examination and admissions management system.
