Comrade Dinh Viet Hong acknowledged the active involvement of fishing ports in combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing. In addition, attention was paid to port sanitation, with daily cleaning and maintenance.
The biggest challenge currently is that fishing ports lack communication equipment to receive information from fishermen regarding departures, arrivals, and other situations at sea. In addition, the port infrastructure has not been adequately invested in and equipped.
However, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong requested that local authorities at the commune and district levels enhance their responsibility in coordinating with relevant agencies to implement State regulations on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing, especially in disseminating information to fishermen.

Therefore, from now until April 15th, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development must direct its specialized agencies to strictly implement regulations on fishing. At the same time, they must complete the necessary documents as directed by the Government.
