(Baonghean.vn) - If one-way outgoing calls are blocked because the subscriber has not standardized the owner's information, the subscriber can still update the information to be unlocked as soon as possible. The deadline is April 15.
Following the direction of the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Information and Communications, network operators nationwide have blocked one-way outgoing calls for subscribers who have not standardized their information since April 1.
However, users do not need to worry too much because they can update the owner information to unlock one way, the deadline to do this is April 15.

According to the reporter's records, in recent days, at the transaction points of network operators in Nghe An such as VinaPhone, Viettel, MobiPhone... the number of customers coming to standardize their owner information has not shown any signs of cooling down. Among them, middle-aged and elderly customers make up the majority, because these are customers who are not familiar with updating data via software on their phones.
Mr. Nguyen Van Long in Vinh City said: Since April 1, I have not been able to call my family members. I found out that my SIM card had incorrect information and was locked in one direction. Therefore, I had to go to the transaction center to ask for support from the network's consultants.
A representative of VNPT - VinaPhone network in Nghe An said: Since April 1, the network has blocked outgoing calls for all subscribers who have not standardized their ownership information in Nghe An. After being blocked, subscribers have gone to transaction points to update their information and complete unlocking procedures. Therefore, the number of people coming to complete procedures in recent days is still very large.
According to the regulations of the Telecommunications Department, after March 31, subscribers whose information does not match the information in the National Population Database will have their outgoing calls blocked in one direction; If they do not update their information, they will be blocked in two directions by April 15. If after being blocked in two directions, they still do not standardize their information, the contract will be terminated and the SIM will be revoked by May 15.

For subscribers with one-way lock, users can proactively text 1414 with the syntax TTTB to know if their subscriber information is correct, then proactively update or call the network operator's customer care number for support. After one-way lock, the network operators will continue to support customers to standardize subscriber information at transaction stores, on the network operator's applications and websites to be unlocked according to regulations.
According to the Department of Telecommunications (Ministry of Information and Communications), there are currently about 1.67 million SIM cards nationwide that are locked one way due to unstandardized personal information.
