Universities will close their admission scores before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, schools will announce the benchmark scores and notify candidates who passed the first round before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that from August 13 to 5 p.m. on August 20, schools will upload candidates' admission data to the system, including high school graduation exam scores, separate exam results, and transcripts. At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training will process the data to determine the highest wish for which candidates are eligible for admission.
Before the deadline of August 20, training institutions will complete the entry of admission scores and admission results into the system. After the review process, the official admission list and benchmark scores will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Successful candidates must confirm their admission online before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
As of July 28, the deadline for university and college admission registration, 849,544 candidates had registered their wishes on the Ministry's system, accounting for more than 73% of the total number of candidates. The remaining 310,400 students did not participate in the admission this year.

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the 2025 high school graduation exam took place in a special context, when the new general education program was first fully implemented. Of which, more than 1.16 million candidates registered to take the exam, with 97% studying under the 2018 program, and only nearly 25,000 students studying under the 2006 program.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that in 2025, the national high school graduation rate will reach 99.21%. This is the first batch of candidates to graduate under the new General Education Program. This means that more than 9,000 candidates will fail the high school graduation exam in 2025.
Also according to the Ministry of Education and Training, as of July 28 - the deadline for registration on the Ministry of Education and Training's system - there were 849,544 candidates registered for admission, accounting for 73.23%. Thus, more than 310,400 candidates did not register for university and college admission in 2025.
