Schools in Nghe An province have contributed nearly 2.6 billion VND to support flood victims.
This is a gesture of solidarity from teachers and students in schools to the people in the flood-affected areas, sharing in the difficulties and losses caused by Typhoon No. 3.

With a spirit of mutual support and compassion, and on a voluntary basis, the teachers and students of the schools joined hands to donate and mobilized 2,548,398,563 VND, which was transferred to the education sector's trade union.
Among these, several schools contributed quite a lot, such as Huynh Thuc Khang High School with over 264 million VND, Le Viet Thuat High School with over 182 million VND, Nguyen Duy Trinh High School with over 100 million VND, Ha Huy Tap High School with over 97 million VND, Nguyen Xuan On High School with over 71 million VND, and Que Phong High School with over 51 million VND.

In addition, many private institutions, language centers, and life skills education centers have also donated in response to the call for donations.
Earlier at the fundraising event, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training stated that the donation campaign to support flood victims was considered a political activity at the beginning of the school year for schools. Through this, the Department hoped that each employee would donate one day's salary to support and share the difficulties faced by the people and the education sector in the provinces affected by the storms. In addition, students in schools also voluntarily donated to support the campaign launched by their respective schools.

Currently, out of the donated funds, the Education Sector Trade Union has transferred over 2.1 billion VND to various units. Of this amount, 1 billion VND was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, and 300 million VND to the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition, donations have been channeled through the education departments of the provinces of Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, and Bac Can to support schools severely damaged by floods. The lowest donation to date for each locality is 50 million VND, and the highest is 250 million VND.
