How did the Vietnamese national team players celebrate Christmas?

(Baonghean.vn) - Tomorrow (December 25th) is the next match for the Vietnamese national team, so the players are still training as usual today according to the training plan. With the little time remaining, the players still managed to celebrate Christmas in various ways.

With his Santa hat and warm surroundings, the photo of footballer Trong Hoang celebrating Christmas early was captioned adorably: "I guess I was good this year, so Santa Claus gave me lots of presents. Merry Christmas everybody!"

At Hang Day Stadium, Duy Manh and Duc Huy, along with their teammate Thanh Chung, also took advantage of the limited time to celebrate Christmas and give meaningful gifts to hundreds of children from Hanoi, Hai Duong, and Vinh Phuc.

Besides the joyful images of the players, this year's Christmas is perhaps a sad one for player Luc Xuan Hung. The player, currently playing for Thanh Hoa Club, posted a sad status update with questions after unexpectedly suffering an injury during a training session and having to return home, missing the Asian Cup campaign with his teammates. Hopefully, he can quickly recover from his injury, regain his form, and soon be called back to the national team to participate in other tournaments.

With center-back Luc Xuan Hung potentially leaving the Vietnamese national team due to injury, coach Park Hang-seo is considering recalling Dinh Trong for the 2019 Asian Cup, as the player may not require immediate minor surgery.
