Previously, the Party Committee of Kien Thanh commune held a meeting and unanimously agreed to propose to the District Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dak R'lap district to remove Mr. Mai Xuan Sang from all his positions due to the aforementioned violations.

In a phone conversation, Mr. Mai Xuan Sang stated that from 1996 to 1998, he attended high school in Dak R'lap district (formerly Dak Lak province), but due to family reasons, he was unable to take the graduation exam. In 1998, he asked an acquaintance at the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training to create a high school diploma for him under the name Mai Xuan Sang.

"It was an acquaintance at the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training who arranged this for me; I didn't buy or sell anything. I've admitted all my mistakes and requested that the District Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee only remove me from my position as a district Party committee member because I've made many contributions to the commune," Mr. Sang explained.

It is known that in 1999, Mr. Sang served as the deputy head of Hamlet 6, Kien Thanh Commune. Later, he was transferred to work as a youth union official and police officer in the commune. In 2008, he was elected as the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Thanh Commune. From 2010 to the present, Mr. Sang has been elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Dak R'lấp District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary, and Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Thanh Commune.
