Two department heads dismissed for altering exam scores in civil servant recruitment.

On September 8th, the People's Committee of Ben Luc district, Long An province, announced two decisions to dismiss Mr. Huynh Thien Kinh, Head of the Internal Affairs Department, and Mr. Dang Thanh Nhu, Head of the Education and Training Department.

These two department heads colluded to alter exam scores in the 2015 civil servant recruitment exam for education staff in Ben Luc district.

Previously, according to information, Mr. Kinh, along with Mr. Nhu and Mr. Vo Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Education and Training Department of Ben Luc district, colluded to intentionally violate regulations and manipulate exam scores for civil service recruitment.

As a result, candidate NTTT's score in the presentation section was increased from 15 points to 16 points, and their total score increased from 73.5 points to 74.5 points.

The actions of these officials caused candidate Le Thi Thanh Dieu to drop from first place to second, and she was ultimately not admitted to the exam.

In Mr. Yen's case, since he has retired, the Ben Luc District People's Committee has assigned the matter to the Party Committee of the commune where he is currently a Party member for handling.

The People's Committee of Ben Luc District also issued a decision to revoke the decision on the recruitment of Ms. NTTT as a civil servant, and at the same time recognized the results of the 2015 civil servant recruitment exam for the education and training sector of Ms. Le Thi Thanh Dieu and issued a decision to recruit Ms. Dieu.
