One Millimeter Away, Episode 24: Ngan gets drunk and wants to forget Vien.
After discovering her husband's plot, Ngan turned to alcohol and, in a drunken state, revealed past mistakes that caused her to lose the man she loved, expressing a desire to forget everything.
In episode 24 of the series "One Millimeter Away From You," Ngan completely broke down after discovering Nghiem's plan and scheme. Overwhelmed with grief, she invited Tu out for drinks and, for the first time, considered divorce.
Disillusioned by her husband's true nature.
After discovering the true nature of the husband she was trying to save, Ngân felt horrified. In a conversation with Tú, she shared that she used to think betrayal was the most disgusting thing, but now she realizes there are things even worse than that.
"My brother was right to scold me; I have eyes but I have to pretend to be blind," Ngân said through tears. She explained that she had to do it for her daughter, Tép. "I don't want her to see the ugliness of this life. And of the people who gave birth to her either."
Past mistakes and lingering regrets
Ngân's sharing reveals a deep inner conflict. She wants to escape her abusive husband but worries about her daughter's future and feelings. This is also why she previously put the wedding ring back on Nghiêm's finger, wanting her daughter to have her father's presence as she grows up.
In her drunken state, Ngan confessed a secret: "The only time I ever got drunk, I made a mistake, and that mistake cost me so much. Even the person I loved." She felt like God was punishing her, because every time she mustered the courage to approach Vien, she stumbled.
"I don't want to conform anymore, I don't want to be a role model, I don't want to be anyone's example. I just want to be myself. I just want to forget this boring life," she told Tú.

When Viễn arrived to pick her up, Ngân was drunk and not sober. She asked him for a "forgetfulness virus" so she could forget everything, including Viễn – a complete contradiction to her past desire to forget everything except him.
Witnessing Ngan's despair, Vien asked her if she would have married him if baby Tep hadn't been born that day. However, Ngan fell asleep on his back before she could answer.
