Ngan and Nghiem decided to divorce but kept it a secret from their family for the time being. However, Bach, noticing the unease, questioned his sister about her unhappy marriage.
In episode 29 of the series "One Millimeter Away From You," the marriage between Ngan and Nghiem has reached a final decision: divorce. However, they both agree to temporarily conceal this fact so as not to affect the joyful atmosphere of the family before Bach's wedding.
Despite trying to appear normal, the cracks in Ngan's relationship didn't seem to escape the notice of her perceptive younger brother.
A plan to conceal the failure.
According to the plot, Ngan proactively suggested a divorce after Bach's wedding. She didn't want her personal troubles to affect her brother's important day and everyone else's mood. As for Nghiem, he agreed to cooperate and would do his best to play his role well while Bach was in Vietnam, but there seemed to be ulterior motives behind this agreement.

The younger brother's intuition
During an intimate conversation, when Ngan offered him advice, Bach sensed something was amiss. He frankly asked his sister, "Did Nghiem betray you? Or does he not respect you?"
Bach further shared his feelings: "She advised me, but I felt like she wasn't relaxing; she was just trying too hard. I felt like she wasn't happy in her marriage."

Faced with her younger brother's inquisitive questions and sharp questioning, Ngan could no longer hide it and admitted that Bach's intuition was completely accurate.
Further developments in the series will be revealed in episode 29, airing at 8 PM on December 11th on VTV3.
