In episode 32 of the series "One Millimeter Away From You," Hieu successfully invites Tu to dinner and frankly expresses his intention to win her over. Despite Tu exposing his promiscuous past, Hieu admits to being a "bad boy" but asserts that he can change when he meets the right person, and that person is Tu.
However, Tú remained firm in her stance, declaring that their relationship could only be friendship or nothing at all. Just then, Duyên and Bách unexpectedly appeared. In reality, this was a meeting arranged by Duyên out of jealousy after seeing Hiếu dating someone else.
The tension reached its peak at the four-person dinner.
The atmosphere became tense as all four sat together at the table. Hieu openly declared his intention to make Tu his life partner, a statement aimed at both Tu and Duyen. In response, Tu bluntly asked Hieu to deal with his "girlfriend group."
When Hieu asked Bach if Duyen had ever suspected him, Bach confidently asserted, "If you're in love, you don't suspect." This answer infuriated Tu, who was well aware of the ambiguous relationship between Duyen and Hieu. She countered by questioning whether it was necessary to test whether trust was well-placed.
Tú's words angered Bách, who sternly warned her against using misleading language. Feeling superfluous and out of place, Tú decided to leave despite Hiếu's attempts to ease the situation.
Hieu chased after her to apologize, but Tu declared she didn't want to be dragged into his emotional games and wouldn't greet him if they met again.
Hieu definitively ended things with Duyen.
After the meal, Duyen met with Hieu privately to question him about his feelings for Tu. Hieu didn't deny it and warned Duyen to be careful and avoid letting Bach know about their ambiguous relationship.
Faced with Duyen's jealousy, Hieu frankly asserted that Tu was different from her and revealed that Tu knew about their past hotel stay. He advised Duyen to "calm down," remembering that she was about to get married and Bach was a perfect match.
"Seeing how serious he is with you, I've lost all interest in getting involved with you," Hieu said, declaring his intention to end this "risky game" and asking Duyen not to call him again without his permission. Afterward, Hieu left and tried to call Tu but found his number blocked.
