How 'madams' recruit students for prostitution on social media.
(Baonghean.vn) - Giang used social media to recruit "long-legged" female students into her prostitution ring. Giang advertised that all her "girls" were students, so the price ranged from 3 to 5 million VND per session.
Nghe An: Police dismantle prostitution ring involving students and young women.
The Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province is preparing a case file to prosecute Ha Thi Giang (born in 1995, residing in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district) for the crime of "Brokering prostitution". Because Giang is raising a young child under 36 months old, she will not be subject to temporary detention.
According to the head of the Criminal Police Department (PC45), Giang was the ringleader of a prostitution ring, in which the prostitutes were mainly students and attractive women in Vinh City.

According to the statements of the two prostitutes caught red-handed by the police, Tran Thi N. (born in 1998, residing in Dien Chau) and Thai Thi Y. (born in 1993, residing in Anh Son district), Giang was the one who "recruited" them. When there were clients, Giang would inform them of the location for them to go and engage in prostitution.
During questioning at the police station, Giang confessed that on the afternoon of November 23rd, she received a request from a client via social media asking her to find two prostitutes for sexual services. After the client selected the women based on photos, Giang agreed on a price of 4 million VND per person. Following this, Giang contacted N. and X. to arrange for them to come to the hotel for prostitution, and agreed with the two prostitutes on a price of 2 million VND per session.
According to an investigator, Giang was unemployed and had previously worked as a prostitute. However, due to her unremarkable appearance, she couldn't compete with the more attractive women.
Noticing the increasing demand for prostitution, especially among students, Giang posted an advertisement on social media "recruiting" female students and attractive women for her prostitution ring. Giang's requirements were that they be pretty, diligent, fair-skinned, and free of acne.
Specifically, Giang also suggested that if any girl, due to difficult family circumstances, needed to sell her virginity to earn money, she could contact her.
When clients arrived, Giang introduced her "girls" as all students, so the price for their services was high, ranging from 3 to 5 million VND per session. However, when informing the prostitutes of the price, Giang only quoted 2 million VND per session, of which Giang received 30%.

According to the head of PC45, recently, many prostitution rings operating through social media platforms have appeared in Vinh City. By creating accounts on Zalo and Facebook, these prostitution ringleaders recruit "beautiful women" into their networks.
After months of surveillance, the police were able to identify several individuals involved in pimping and their methods. Initially, these individuals would post advertisements seeking female students with high aesthetic requirements to work as PGs (promotional girls/boys) and offer attractive salaries.
When contacted, they arrange meetings, selecting those who meet their appearance requirements. They then get acquainted, take the girls out for meals and shopping. Once the girls trust them, they suggest going out for drinks with clients and then engaging in prostitution, promising incredibly attractive income. Because their methods primarily involve social media and text messages, the network has been operating for a long time.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the evening of November 23, a task force from the PC45 and C45 departments of the Ministry of Public Security raided two rooms at the Dat Phu Hotel (Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City) and the Victory Hotel (Vinh City) and caught two couples in the act of prostitution.

The police fined the two customers 750,000 VND each for soliciting prostitution. Thai Thi Y. and Tran Thi N. were also fined 200,000 VND each for prostitution.
