Effective ways to treat puffy eyes at home.
Under-eye bags are a beauty scourge, but you can easily get rid of them with these four inexpensive DIY remedies.
Under-eye bags appear due to fluid buildup under the skin around the eyes, causing the skin to become taut. The causes are diverse, including lack of sleep or excessive sleep, poor diet, allergies, aging, and genetics. Identifying the root cause of under-eye bags is the best way to find the most effective treatment. However, if the cause is unknown, the following four methods may help improve the condition.

1. Eat less salt.
Eating too much salt is the most common cause of puffy eyes. This is because excessive salt intake causes an imbalance between salt and water in the body; water is drawn out of cells and tissues swell, so less salt = less swelling.
If you're worried about the difficulty of adjusting your taste, don't worry too much; adjust over time. Each day, cook slightly less salty food to gradually change your palate.
What you need here is self-restraint and perseverance.
2. Chrysanthemum Tea

Chamomile is very effective in reducing puffiness around the eyes caused by allergies. It works wonderfully in soothing itchy and irritated skin. At the same time, it also helps relax tired eyes.
Preparation: 2 chamomile tea bags, 120ml of boiling water, and a place to lie down and relax.
Instructions: Steep 2 tea bags in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, let them cool and dry. Lie down and place the cooled tea bags on your eyes for at least 10 minutes. Do this twice a day for best results.
A homemade cold compress can help reduce puffiness around the eyes temporarily.

Cold temperatures can temporarily reduce the appearance of puffy eyes. Cold constricts blood vessels, thereby slowing the flow of fluid into the tissues and reducing puffiness.
Preparation: a small plastic zip-lock bag, corn syrup (available at baking supply stores)
Instructions: Place the corn syrup in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer, using it as needed. Because of its high sugar content, the corn syrup won't freeze solid, but it will still be close to it. Before using, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes to soften.
Note: If you don't have time for this method of rest, you can simplify it by using cold water to rinse your eyes every morning.
4. Sleep in a higher position.
If your eyes tend to be puffy every time you wake up, pay attention to your sleeping position. Since puffiness is caused by increased fluid buildup around the eyes, try elevating your head when you sleep to reduce this.
Preparation: Add an extra pillow.
Instructions: Place an extra pillow under your head to elevate it while sleeping.
These four simple measures will help you improve the appearance of puffy eyes, giving you healthier and more beautiful eyes.
