With 103mm of rainfall and winds of force 6-7, most reservoirs in Nghia Lien, Nghia Phu, Nghia Hung, Nghia Yen communes, etc., overflowed their dams. Nearly 100 households had to be evacuated; about 20 hectares of unharvested rice fields were flooded and covered with silt; over 600 chickens were swept away; 800 meters of fence collapsed; 3 hectares of fruit trees were uprooted; and many fish ponds suffered heavy damage.
